It's time to Celebrate!

Wishing Everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday!

Not only are we celebrating the festivities of Christmas we are thrilled to have sighted a record number of birds this season!! 7 of which are chicks returning for the first time after their 5 year voyage around the Antarctic.

An Awesome Season

Although rather late, the last egg to be laid so far was on the 1st December, bringing the total nests this season to 32.......we could not ask for anything better!

The rangers are busy checking eggs for fertility, of which we have a few unfertile. So these breeding birds have had a dummy egg put under them so that they are available to foster eggs/chicks if needed later in the season.
